We engage in participatory research to address the local needs of communities. Projects are developed collaboratively, drawing on diverse expertise and Inuit Knowledge, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ). Harmonizing our ideas and sciences towards practical purposes for communities is our motivation.

Ausuittuq Adventures
Terry Noah is the owner of Ausuittuq Adventures, a tourism and research support company in Ausuittuq, where he has lived his entire life. He studied at Nunavut Sivuniksavut, Nunavut Arctic College, and Algonquin College. Drawing on extensive experience on sea ice and in open water, he now combines research with traditional activities to monitor changes in the coastal ocean in Jones Sound.

Kuguktuk Hunters and Trappers Organization
Richard is a dedicated collaborator in our coastal research around Coronation Gulf. He contributes his knowledge, technical skills, and environmental observations to the team. His connection to the land and willingness to share his experiences enhance our understanding of coastal dynamics in the Kugluktuk area.
